Simpson Kirr Signs Three to 2025 Roster

CLEMSON, S.C. – Clemson Volleyball Head Coach Jackie Simpson Kirr and staff announced the addition of Khaya Gordon, Bianca Martinez and Nil Okur to the 2025 roster on Tuesday. Gordon joins the Tigers after two seasons at Navarro College, while Martinez (Cal State Fullerton) and Okur (Michigan State) have one year of eligibility remaining. All three are set to join the roster in January 2025.

“We are thrilled to welcome Khaya, Bianca and Nil to the Clemson Volleyball family,” said Simpson Kirr. “Each of these athletes brings a unique skill set, high-level experience and a competitive spirit that aligns with our vision for the program.”

Khaya Gordon · Pin Attacker · Belize City, Belize · Navarro College

• First Team Region XIV All-Conference (2024)
• Second Team Region XIV All-Conference (2023)
• Averaged 3.62 points per set at Navarro, including 4.53 during the 2024 season
• Finished with 597 kills in two seasons with Navarro and a .289 hitting percentage
• Clocked 40 aces during the 2024 season
• Tallied 121 total blocks that included 16 solo blocks (12 during the 2024 campaign)
• Posted a career-high 23 kills vs. Trinity Valley Community College (Sept. 24, 2024)
• Had seven blocks vs. Indian Hills Community College on Aug. 25, 2023
• Helped Navarro to a NJCAA third place finish (2023)
• Four-time medalist for the Belize National Team

Bianca Martinez · Middle Hitter · Omaha, Nebraska · Cal State Fullerton

• 2022 Big West All-Freshman Team
• Clocked 645 points to average 2.11 points per set in her three-year career at Cal State Fullerton
• Has 257 total blocks, including 45 solo blocks (22 during the 2022 season)
• Appeared in 28 matches in 2024 and led the team with 83 blocks (13 solo, 70 assisted)
• Averaged 1.75 kills per set and 0.85 blocks per set in 2024
• Finished with a career-high 12 blocks at UC Riverside (Oct. 22, 2022)
• Tallied a career-high 13 kills against Cal Baptist (Sept. 16, 2023)

Simpson Kirr on Martinez: “Bianca brings a steady and reliable presence at the net, with the ability to make an impact on both offense and defense. Her experience will be a great addition to our program.”

Nil Okur · Middle Hitter · Istanbul, Turkey · Michigan State

• Averaged 2.00 points per set in her three seasons at MSU
• Clocked 146 total blocks, including 13 solo blocks
• Had 28 service aces with 18 during the 2022 season
• Finished with a .307 hitting percentage to rank No. 4 all-time by a Spartan first year
• Tallied a career-high eight blocks at Navy (Sept. 2, 2022)
• Recorded a career-high 13 kills at Indiana to contribute to 17.5 total points (Oct. 16, 2022)
• Has played with U19/U20, U17/U18 and U16/U17 age group Turkish National teams

Simpson Kirr on Okur: “Nil’s international and Big 10 experience will increase the level of play in our gym. Her passion for the game will complement our team’s efforts moving forward.”
