CLEMSON, S.C. – Head Lacrosse Coach Allison Kwolek and the Clemson Lacrosse program have announced the nine signees for the 2026 class with the addition of Savanna Appleton, Anna Bogan, Bailey Cooper, Samantha Hohn, Dylan Meagher, Ayiana Rippin, Evie Ruma, Ella Upchurch and Kylie Waters.
The class is made up of four attackers, four midfielders and a goalie that hail throughout the country, including Georgia, Maryland, Minnesota, New York, Ohio and South Carolina.
“We are thrilled to welcome this class to the Tiger Family,” said Kwolek, “These nine athletes bring skill, character, and competitiveness that match the standard we’re building here. We look forward to their arrival to campus next fall.”
Massapequa, N.Y. – Massapequa High School – Attack
Savanna Appleton joins the Tigers out of Massapequa. For the past two years, the New Yorker has been named to All-Nassau County and an Academic All-American while also being named to the All-Long Island Second Team in 2024. A three-sport athlete, Appleton also earned All-Nassau accolades in volleyball and basketball while at Massapequa High School. Academically, the attacker is a member of National Honor Society, Business Honor Society and honor roll and plans to major in accounting. Appleton’s mother, Jennifer, played soccer at SUNY-Cortland.
“I decided to come to Clemson because from the moment I first stepped onto Clemson’s campus, I knew it was a special place. I attended a lacrosse camp there during my sophomore year of high school, and after the first day, I went back to the hotel and cried to my mom because I realized how much I wanted to be part of it. Everything about Clemson drew me in the energy, the community, the coaches, and everything Clemson stands for. I especially loved how big of a school it is, but it still feels like a close family. When I’m at Clemson, it doesn’t just feel like a campus it feels like home.”
Westerville, Ohio – Saint Francis DeSales High School – Midfield
One of two recruits out of Ohio, Anna Bogan joins the Clemson midfield unit. The St. Francis DeSales product was named the Ohio High School Girls Lacrosse Coaches Association All-Ohio First Team, All-Region First Team and Midfielder of the Year during her 2025 campaign while also earning an Under Armour 150 Selection and being named the No. 26th-ranked player nationally by Lacrosse Magazine. Academically, Bogan has been recognized on the St. Francis DeSales honor roll three times and has been a member of National Honor Society for two years. Both of Bogan’s parents played soccer at the collegiate level with her mother, Jennifer, playing at Arkansas and FIU and her father, Matthew, playing at Ohio State.

Penn Yan, N.Y. – Penn Yan Academy – Attack
An attacker hailing from New York, Bailey Cooper joins the Clemson attack out of Penn Yan Academy. A two-sport athlete, Cooper has been received Player of the Year nods, was twice-named as the Section 5 MVP and selected to the Section 5 All-Tournament Team for the past three years. Academically, Cooper is a member of the National Honor Society and has been on the honor roll throughout her time at Penn Yan Academy. Her brother, Tanner, played six years in the Cincinnati Reds organization and her other brother, Cody, played baseball at Slippery Rock University.

Hugo, Minnesota – Gentry Academy – Attack
An attacker out of Minnesota, Samantha Hohn bolsters the Tigers attack. Hohn is a four-time letterwinner for Gentry Academy’s lacrosse and basketball teams, earning All-Section recognition during her freshman and sophomore campaigns and All-America and All-State during her junior year for lacrosse, including leading Minnesota in points and being named captain during her junior and senior year. Academically, Hohn has been a member of National Honor Society throughout her high school career and has been on the honor roll during that time. She plans on majoring in elementary education while at Clemson.

Greenville, S.C. – J.L. Mann High School – Goalie
Staying close to home, Dylan Meagher signs as the newest goalie in the Clemson family. The Greenville native has twice been named the captain of her varsity lacrosse team while also earning All-Region and All-State First Team accolades in 2024 and 2025. During the 2024 campaign, Meagher was selected as the Upper-State Goalie of the Year, Upper-State Player of the Year and Region Player of the Year. Meagher was the FCA leader for three years and likes to hunt and fish outside of lacrosse.

Fallston, Md. – McDonogh High School – Midfield
A three-sport varsity athlete for McDonogh High School, Ayiana Rippin joins the Tigers in the midfield. The Maryland native is a three-time New Balance All-America Champion and on the New Balance All-America Senior Game Watchlist. Along with these, Rippin is also a member of the U19 Haudenosaunee National Team and a IAAM A Conference Champion in lacrosse, soccer and basketball. Academically, Rippin has been a consistent member of the McDonogh High School honor roll.

Columbus, Ohio – Upper Arlington High School – Midfield
A midfielder out of Columbus, Ohio, Evie Ruma joins the Clemson midfield corps. As a product of Upper Arlington High School, Ruma was twice selected as First Team All-Region while being named to First Team All-State during her 2025 campaign with Regional Midfielder of the Year honors as well thanks in part to a 72-goal year. Additionally, during the 2025 season, Ruma was named to the New Balance All-America and to the Columbus Dispatch All-Metro Team. Academically, she has been on the honor roll throughout her high school career and is a member of the National Arts Honor Society. Her brother, Turner, rows at Marietta College.

Milton, Ga. – Fellowship Christian School – Midfield
One of two players in the class from Milton, Ga., Ella Upchurch joins the Tigers as a midfielder. The four-time lacrosse letterwinner for Fellowship Christian School has twice been named to All-State First Team 1-4A Midfield and All-Region First Team while also earning All-America accolades during the 2025 season. Academically, Upchurch has been a four-time honor roll member, been named a peer leader for her senior student body and has accumulated over 100 service hours.

The first time I met the coaches I knew I wanted to be a part of what they were building. Clemson University has the best lacrosse facilities in the country. The proximity of Clemson to my hometown, Milton, was a huge factor as well. Lastly, Clemson has excellent academics and offers many programs that will help me learn, grow, and prepare for my future both on and off the field.”
Milton, Ga. – Milton High School – Attack
An attacker staying down south, Kylie Waters officially joins the Clemson family. Waters is a three-time Georgia State Champion, reigning 2A Offensive Player of the Year and named to the USA Lacrosse All-America and the No. 15-ranked player by USA Lacrosse. The Georgia native has been a member of the U17 and U19 USA Youth Development Team while being named a U17 USA Youth Development Team Standout. Waters plans to major in finance, and her mother played softball at Newberry College.
“I decided to come to Clemson because I grew up a Clemson fan, and several family members graduated from Clemson. I love the atmosphere, campus and obviously the lacrosse team and coaches. Not to mention the amazing facility right by the lake.”
