2021 Summer League Tigers
CLEMSON, S.C. – A total of 21 Tigers from the 2021 team played in various summer leagues after the 2021 season.
Caden Grice, a freshman All-American in 2021, played for the USA Collegiate National Team. He also played for Chatham in the Cape Cod League.
Ryan Ammons and Chad Fairey were both Valley League All-Star Game selections who played for Strasburg. Ammons was 3-0 with five saves, a 1.25 ERA and 38 strikeouts in 21.2 innings pitched. Fairey hit .326 with 11 homers, 41 RBIs, 40 runs and 14 steals in 41 games.
Max Wagner was a Northwoods League All-Star Game selection with Green Bay who hit .313 with six homers, 19 RBIs and 28 runs in 31 games.
In three starts with Wareham in the Cape Cod League, Mack Anglin did not allow an earned run with 16 strikeouts in 12.2 innings pitched.
Dylan Brewer hit .350 with four homers, 17 RBIs, 37 runs and 15 steals in 32 games with Lexington County in the Coastal Plain League.
J.D. Brock hit .329 with four homers, 11 RBIs, 21 runs and six steals in 27 games with Lake Norman in the Southern Collegiate Baseball League.
Ty Olenchuk had a 2.36 ERA and hit .341 at the plate as a two-way player for Lexington County in the Coastal Plain League. His teammate, Ricky Williams, was 3-1 with a 2.09 ERA in 34.1 innings pitched.
Blake Wright hit .303 with four homers and 18 RBIs with Forest City in the Coastal Plain League.
