Only Clemson University students paying full time fees (including full University fee) are eligible to participate in this program. Total tickets available to students are limited based on stadium capacity (11,000 for home football games). Students paying for less than twelve semester hours and those that drop below twelve hours are not eligible for a student ticket. They may purchase tickets at the Clemson Athletic Ticket Office, if available. Policies concerning control and issue of student tickets, schedules of times and places of ticket issue and procedures for admittance to events are outlined below.
POLICIES AND PROCEDURES A student’s Tiger 1 card will verify payment of fees and eligibility for student tickets. Each student must present their Tiger 1 card and a student ticket for admittance to ticketed events.
FOOTBALL TICKETS Football tickets will be issued (by class) for home football games at Gate 11 (west end of Memorial Stadium.) See schedule below. Each student must present his/her valid Tiger 1 card prior to issuance of a ticket. Students sick or absent from campus due to official business on the date of issue may pick up their tickets on a subsequent scheduled issue date if available.
HOME GAME DISTRIBUTION SCHEDULE Seniors and Post Grads (90 hours or more): Monday, 7:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Juniors (60 hours or more): Tuesday, 7:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. All Classes: Wednesday, 7:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. All Classes: Thursday, 7:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
NOTE Students who fail to pick up their ticket before 4:30 p.m. Thursday may be issued a ticket at the Clemson Athletic Ticket Office on Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. or at Gate 1 of the stadium on game day, if available. If tickets are available on game day, students must pick them up by the end of the first quarter. The student ticket window will open one and a half hours prior to game time and will close at the end of the first quarter.
2009 FOOTBALL STUDENT TICKET DISTRIBUTION DATES Aug. 31-Sept. 3: Middle Tennessee (by class) Sept. 7-8: Away Game Sale (Georgia Tech, Maryland, Miami, N.C. State) Sept. 14-17: Boston College (by class) Sept. 21-24: TCU (by class) Oct. 5-8 (due to fall break): Wake Forest (by class) Oct. 26-29: Coastal Carolina (by class) Nov. 2-5: Florida State (by class) Nov. 9-10: South Carolina Lottery Nov. 11-12: Sell South Carolina Tickets Nov. 16-19: Virginia (by class)
DATE TICKETS A season date ticket, which allows a student to pick up one date ticket for all seven home games, will be sold at the Clemson Athletic Ticket Office for $240 on an as-available basis, beginning August 17, 2009. No season date tickets will be sold after August 28, 2009. Individual game date tickets will be sold for home football games during regular distribution, on an as-available basis. The prices of the home tickets are $35 each for Middle Tennessee State and Coastal Carolina. Boston College, TCU, Wake Forest and Virginia are $48.00. At this time the ticket office does not anticipate having individual game date tickets available to sell for the Florida State game. (Students that purchase a season date ticket will receive a date ticket for all home games.) Each student may obtain only one “non-student” ticket per Tiger 1 card, be it a season date ticket, individual date ticket or a trade-in ticket. The Clemson Athletic Ticket Office reserves the right to limit the sale of individual game tickets.
AWAY GAME TICKETS Tickets for away football games will be available to students for purchase on Monday, September 7 and Tuesday, September 8, 2009 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Clemson Athletic Ticket Office beside Gate 9 of Memorial Stadium. The tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis while they last. A student will be eligible to purchase two tickets upon presentation of their Tiger 1 card for Georgia Tech ($50), Maryland ($48), Miami ($49) and N.C. State ($45). Payment must be cash, credit card (Mastercard, Visa, Discover, American Express), or Tiger Stripe. The tickets will be located in a student block.
GRADUATE STUDENTS Graduate students (not on assistantships) paying for twelve or more semester hours are eligible for tickets with the same privileges and restrictions that apply to seniors. Graduate students on assistantship or taking less than twelve semester hours will receive information separately about ticket opportunities for football and basketball.
BASKETBALL TICKETS Basketball student ticket distribution policy and dates will be available at a later date.
SOCCER, WOMEN’S BASKETBALL AND BASEBALL TICKETS Students will be admitted to all home regular season soccer, women’s basketball and baseball games upon presentation of their Tiger 1 ID card. Total tickets available to students are limited based on stadium capacity.
2009-2010 ACC MEN’S BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT Full-time students may apply for the 2010 ACC Tournament in Greensboro, NC during the week of January 11-15, 2009 at the Clemson Athletic Ticket Office. More information (including cost) will be available at a later date.
