In 2015 (Junior)
- Played in 19 matches and started 11
- Scored five goals, including the game-winning penalty kick against Maryland in the NCAA Elite 8
- Tallied four assists, three coming against UC Santa Barbra in the NCAA Sweet 16
- Recipient of the Academic Achievement Award at the CLEMMYs
In 2014 (Sophomore):
- Played in all 22 matches for Clemson, starting 17 of them and playing more than 1,000 minutes.
- Scored three goals, including the game-winner against Radford in the regular season opener.
- Assisted on three more goals during the season.
- Named to Clemson’s Honor Roll during the Spring 2015 semester for maintaining at least a 3.0 GPA.
In 2013 (Freshman):
- Scored the game-winning goal against South Carolina in overtime
- Moreno scored the game winner in the South Carolina match on a diagonal left-footed shot from 20 yards out that hit the right corner of the netting at the 101:36 mark for his first career goal at Clemson
- Also scored the goal in the NCAA Tournament match against Elon on November 21
- Played in 21 matches, made six starts
- Scored two goals and had one assist for five points during his freshman season
Before Clemson:
- Named ESR First-Team All-America
- Moreno scored 18 goals and added 10 assists for the nation’s top-ranked high school team
- Earned all-tournament honors at the Berkeley Prep Invitational and the Montverde Academy Soccer Tournament, which completed the team’s 23-0-1 season and a national title
- Native of Brazil who grew up playing soccer as a young child
- Was a star on the Paraiso Futsal team as well as playing for Palmeiras as a youth at an early age
- Gatorade Florida Boys Soccer Player of the Year
- Thales was named to the All-Tournament team at the Montverde Academy Soccer Tournament in 2013
- Helped his team win the National Championship with Montverde Academy in 2012-2013 winter season
