Women’s Tennis To Participate In Miami Invitational

CLEMSON, SC – The Clemson women’s tennis team will conclude its fall season at the Miami Invitational this weekend. The Hurricanes’ third annual tournament will consist of six flights of singles, and two flights of doubles. Matches are set to begin each morning at 8:30 a.m., and will run until approximately 5:00 p.m.

Along with the Tigers and Miami, participating schools include Florida International University, Florida Atlantic University, University of Iowa and Florida State.

Junior Carol Salge, who has compiled a 6-3 record so far this fall, leads the Clemson squad. The native of San Roque, Brazil reached the quarterfinals of the Wilson/ITA Southeast Regional in October and then advanced to the second round at the ITA National Intercollegiate Indoor Championships last weekend.
