Fountain opened the pentathlon with an 8.70 in the 60 hurdles and followed with a best of 5’9.25″ in the high jump. She achieved the height, a personal best, on her last attempt. Fountain had an easy personal best in the shot put with a throw of 36’8.5″, and followed with an 18’9″ long jump and time of 2:27.39 to close out the 800 meters. Her pentathlon total was third-best in Clemson history.
