On her general thoughts of the match: “It was a good match. Furman came out strong today, and they really made us play. They made us earn it.”
On her team’s prospects for tomorrow: “We have to treat it just like another match. Of course we’re playing for Tulsa, but we have to approach it the same way. I’m sure Clemson or Winthrop will be a tough match for us. We’ll have to be focused and swing away.”

On her team’s season: “It means a lot to our school to return to the NCAA Tournament. It’s one of our team goals. The kids played well this year and we’re happy to get back. We were excited to play Michigan since we’ve never played them before. They kept more balls in play that we did and were more aggressive.They hit big shots and cover the court well. I just thought that they were a little bit better than us today.
