Andres Borges scored two goals and assisted on another in leading Clemson to a 6-0 win over the Atlanta Fire Club team in a men’s exhibition soccer match at Clemson, SC Monday night. The Atlanta Fire Club team is the defending National Champions in U16 soccer.
Steven Rhyne also scored one goal and had an assist in the match. Teammate Grant Kevins had two assists in the contest. The Tigers will open the 2003 season at the Virginia Commonwealth Invitational in Richmond, VA on August 29-31. The Tigers will play VCU and Richmond in the Tournament.
