Clemson Gets Midfielder

CLEMSON, SC – Bradley Gibson, a First Team All-State midfielder from Tipp City, Ohio has signed a national letter-of-intent with the Clemson men’s soccer program. He is the sixth signee for 2001 with Trevor Adair’s program.

Gibson was a member of Team Dayton, a club team in Dayton, Ohio. The team was the State Cup Champion in 1999. They were winners of the St. Louis Tournament and the Kalamazoo Tournament that year as well.

He has been a memember of the state of Ohio Olympic Development Team since 1996. In 2000, he earned a position on the Region II ODP Team.

Gibson attended Tippecanoe High School. He was selected Dayton Area Player-of-the-Year in 2000 and earned MVP honors his junior and senior year. His brother, Whitney Gibson, is a former goalkeeper at Penn State University.
