Stanley Leads PGA Money List and FedEx Cup Standings

CLEMSON, SC – Former Clemson All-American Kyle Stanley is first on the PGA Tour money list and first in the FedExCup Standings through tournaments of Feb. 12. He is also second behind Phil Mickelson in Ryder Cup points among United States Players.

Stanley is the first Clemson golfer to rank first on the PGA Tour Money list and FedExCup standings this late in the season (through tournaments of Feb. 15) and his Ryder Cup standing is the highest by any former Clemson golfer at any point in the season. No former Clemson golfer has played in the Ryder cup.

Stanley won the Waste Management Phoenix Open two weeks ago when he came from eight strokes back entering the final round. He also has a second-place finish at the Farmers Insurance Open in San Diego. He took this past week off and will return to action this weekend at the Northern Trust Open in Los Angeles.

The two-time NCAA runner-up has earned $1,793,575 in four tournaments so far, first on the list ahead of Johnson Wagner, who has earned $1,586,858. Brandt Snedeker is third and Phil Mickelson is fourth. Stanley also has the lead in FedExCup points with 846, a total that is 49 more than Wagner. He is second to Mickelson in terms of Ryder Cup points. Mickelson has 2,056 and Stanley has 1,822.
