Men’s Golf Earns No. 1 National Ranking

Clemson, S.C. – The Clemson golf team is listed as the number-one team in the nation according to the latest Golfweek/Taylormade men’s collegiate rankings.

Following Clemson in the poll at the number-two spot is Oklahoma State. Arizona State and Georgia Tech are tied for third, while Florida rounds out the top-five.

So far during the fall season the Tigers have won one of the two tournaments they have competed in. Clemson claimed the Ridges Intercollegiate title to open the fall season in September.

Larry Penley’s club will play in the Jerry Pate Intercollegiate next week in Birmingham, AL.
