CLEMSON, SC-Clemson men’s tennis players Yannick and Dominique Maden have advanced to the finals of the first Futures men’s tennis tournament of the year in Germany. As a doubles team, the Madens defeated Stefan Seifert and Peter Torebko of Germany 7-6 (4), 6-7 (8), (10-7).
The Madens will play the #1 seeded team of James Cluskey (IRL) and Alexander Satschko (GER) in the finals.
“We are really happy about Yannick and Dom’s run to the finals,” said Clemson Head Men’s Tennis Chuck McCuen. “It is not an easy feat to get to the finals of a Futures tournament and they have had to be resilient and work through adversity to win two matches in tiebreakers. I am excited for them, and the success they are seeing on the Pro Circuit.”
