CLEMSON, SC– Carlos Alvarez defeated Andrew Hamar at number five singles 3-6, 6-2, 6-3 in clinching the match at leading Clemson to a 4-3 win over 11th-ranked Wake Forest at Clemson, SC Friday evening.
Clemson improves to 23-8 overall and 3-5 in the ACC. Wake Forest is now 18-4 on the year and 4-3 in the ACC.
The Tigers will face N.C. State on Saturday afternoon (April 7) at 1:00 p.m. in the Tigers’ next action.
