CLEMSON, SC – Clemson forward Trevor Booker was one of 10 players named to the All-District III Team on Tuesday by the U.S. Basketball Writers Association (USBWA). The district covers players from the states of Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia. Eight of the 10 players named to the All-District team were from the Atlantic Coast Conference.
This is the second straight season Booker has been named to the All-District Team by the USBWA. It is also the third straight year a Clemson player has been included on the organization’s All-District Team, as Cliff Hammonds earned the nod in 2008. Earlier this week, the senior from Whitmire, SC was named first-team All-ACC and to the league’s All-Defensive Team as well.
Booker leads the Tigers in both scoring (15.3 ppg) and rebounding (8.3 rpg). He also ranks second on the team in assists (75), blocked shots (44) and steals (42).
