Additional Radio Networks To Broadcast Clemson Football and Basketball

CLEMSON, SC – The Clemson University Athletic Department and Clemson Tiger Sports Properties welcome new additions to both the Basketball and Football Radio Networks. The Clemson Men’s Basketball Network has added both WOLT-FM out of Greenville, SC and WICI-FM in Sumter, SC to its radio coverage map.

WOLT-FM can be found at 103.3 on your FM radio dial and will be utilized to carry all of the Tigers 16, men’s basketball conference games and the South Carolina game on December 2nd. The station will be a compliment in the Greenville/Spartanburg listening area to both WCCP – 104.9 FM, the Flagship Station of the Clemson Tiger Radio Network, and Gaffney’s WAGI – 105.3 FM signal. WOLT is Greenville/Spartanburg’s newest community information and 60’s/70’s music radio station.

WICI-FM will cover the Florence and Sumter areas from its position of 94.7 on the FM dial. Mix 94.7 will not only carry the full slate of men’s basketball games, but will also broadcast the remaining Tiger football games and Tiger Calls each Thursday night. The Radio Network is moving its coverage of Clemson football from WWKT – 99.3 FM in Kingstree to Mix 94.7 for the final 10 games of the 2006 season.

In addition to its improvements in the Greenville/Spartanburg and Sumter/Florence areas, Clemson has finalized an agreement in Orangeburg, SC with a pair of radio stations to ensure year-round coverage of Tiger football, basketball and Tiger Calls.

WWBD-FM out of Bamberg, SC will carry Clemson football and Tiger Calls during the football season. The Bad Dog can be heard at 95.7 on the FM dial. WQKI-FM in Orangeburg, SC will complete the coverage in the area with all of the men’s basketball games and the remaining Tiger Calls. WQKI-FM is Quickie 93.9.
