2012 Highlights • Finished inside Clemson’s top three in all six meets, including a pair of No. 1 performances at the Pac-12 Preview and Pre-Nationals • Finished 29th at the NCAA Southeast Regionals in Charlotte, just four spots from giving Clemson three all-region performers • Second on the team at the ACC Championships, she finished 31st overall • Best 5K time of the season was 18:00 at Pac-12 Preview, and best 6K was 21:12.3 at the Pre-Nationals • Runner-up in dual meet with Georgia State to start the season in August 2011 Highlights • Clemson’s most improved runner from the previous season, she scored in all six of the team’s meets as a sophomore and shaved more than a minute off her personal best in the 6,000 meters • Fell just two spots shy of earning all-region status, she placed 27th at the NCAA Southeast Regional in Louisville, KY • Team’s No. 3 runner at the ACC Championships with a 32nd-place effort • Top finisher at the season-opening Eye Opener, she was fifth in Spartanburg • Earned seventh-place finish at the Clemson Invitational on Sept. 16 • Best 5K time of the season was 17:52 at Notre Dame, where she finished 52nd against a strong national field • Team’s No. 3 runner at the Wisconsin Invitational, a meet stacked with some of the nation’s top teams 2010 Highlights • Competed in six meets and scored in two • Best finish was eighth place at season-opening Gamecock Invitational, where she had a 5K time of 18:20.50 • Scored at the Pre-NCAA Championships in Terre Haute, IN; placed 167th overall with a season-best 6K of 22:18.6 Randolph High School Highlights • Earned All-America status after helping 4x1600m relay to third-place finish at 2010 New Balance Outdoor Nationals in Greensboro, NC • Placed 11th in the 3200m at the New Jersey Meet of Champions in 2010 • Placed fourth in the 5K (19:18) at the 2009 New Jersey Sectional Cross Country Championships • Four-time team captain helped 4x800m relay to indoor and outdoor school records, as well as indoor distance medley relay and outdoor 4x1600m relay • Led cross country team to three sectional championships and a pair of county and conference championships • Led track & field teams (indoor and outdoor combined) to three conference championships and three county championships • Earned four varsity letters apiece in cross country, and indoor/outdoor track & field • Coached by Len Pietrewicz and Nick Albanito Personal • Born 8/5/92 • Daughter of Ross and Laurie Anthony • Majoring in financial management • Named to 2011-12 ACC Academic Honor Roll Collegiate Bests • 5,000 – 17:52 • 6,000 – 21:05.9
