One of the team’s top power hitters … had good speed and was one of the team’s best baserunners … a career .293 hitter with a .375 on-base percentage in 146 games (139 starts) over three seasons (one at North Florida and two at Clemson) at the collegiate level … had 21 doubles, eight triples, eight homers, 72 RBIs, 101 runs, 64 walks, seven hit-by-pitches and 32 steals.
