Speedy outfielder and slap hitter who was a tremendous contributor off the bench as a freshman…will compete for a starting spot in the outfield in 2012. 2011: Hit .367 with 11 runs, two doubles, one triple, one homer, 11 RBIs, a .424 on-base percentage, and three steals in 33 games (10 starts, including five as the DH, three in right field, and two in left field)…hit .522 with a .621 on-base percentage with runners on base…was 10-for-22 (.455) with five runs, two doubles, one triple, and six RBIs in 23 games off the bench…was 6-for-15 (.400) with a double, triple, two RBIs, three walks, and a .500 on-base percentage as a pinch-hitter…was 19-for-36 (.528) in Clemson wins…was 8-for-18 (.444) with runners in scoring position…was 16-for-29 (.552) in non-ACC regular-season games…went 2-for-2 with a run off the bench in his first game as a Tiger against Eastern Michigan on Feb. 18…went 2-for-2 with two RBIs off the bench against Cincinnati on Feb. 25…came off the bench and hit a two-run double against Duke on Mar. 19…went 3-for-4 with his first career homer, two RBIs, and three runs against Elon on Mar. 23…hit a pinch-hit, run-scoring double with one out in the ninth inning to tie the score against Coastal Carolina on Apr. 5…hit a pitch-hit, run-scoring triple against Maryland on Apr. 8…went 3-for-4 with an RBI and steal against Presbyterian College on Apr. 12…played for Sanford in the Florida Collegiate Summer League in the summer, where he hit .148 with a double and two steals; he was a member of the league champions.
