CLEMSON, S.C. – The Clemson Tigers officially wrapped up the final day of the Bob Pollock Invitational on Saturday at the Clemson Indoor Track and Field Complex.

“It was another great weekend for both teams,” Director of Track and Field Mark Elliott said. “We had performances that came together at the right time and we are in a great spot as we look towards nationals.”

Multiple Tigers on both the men’s and women’s side recorded new personal best times and marks in their respective events as the ACC Indoor Championships inches closer. Shining on the day was Shantae Foreman, who won the women’s triple jump with a mark of 13.66m.

The Clemson Women, who are ranked No. 3 in the nation continue to dominate in a variety of events as they each look to secure national qualifying times and marks.

Meet Highlights:

  • Tia Stapleton recorded a new personal best in the high jump with a mark of 1.66m
  • Xavion Lockwood recorded a new personal best in the triple jump with a mark of 15.22m
  • Silvia Jelelgo secures third place in the 800 meters, Grace Sheldon recorded a new personal best in the event with a time of 2:18.49
  • In the men’s 800 meters, Aubrey Lake, Daniel Sullivan, Jacob Serra and Matthew Raucci all recorded new personal bests
  • Aleksandra Stoilova moves up the all-time list as she secures the fourth fastest time in program history in the 200 meters with a personal best time of 23.10, she finished second overall in the event
  • Aniyah Kitt finished third in the 200 meters and McKenzie Calloway recorded a new personal best with a time of 23.89 to finish ninth in the event
  • Charles Bissonnette recorded a new personal best in men’s shot put with a mark of 16.07m
  • Efram Melendez secured a new personal best in the men’s pole vault after clearing 4.72m
  • Jalen Johnson finished first in the men’s 200 meters with a personal best time of 20.90, his brother Ian finished third with a personal best time of 20.92
  • Leupold Wang recorded a new personal best in the men’s high jump with a mark of 2.00m
  • Maddie Dinneen adds her name to the top-10 list in the women’s 3000 meters with a personal best time of 9:34.05 to the No. 8 spot. Madison Roush ran her best time of the season and Madison Timms recorded a new personal best in the event
  • Sawyer Dagan finished seventh overall in the men’s 3000 meters with a time of 8:09.80
  • The Clemson “A” women’s team finished third in the 4×400 relay with a season’s best time of 3:34.17 which places them No. 4 on the top-five list
  • Shantae Foreman won the women’s triple jump with a mark of 13.66m
  • Clemson A team finished fourth overall in the men’s 4×400 relay

Up next, the Tigers will host and compete the Tiger Paw Invitational which will mark the final home indoor meet of the season. The meet will begin on Friday, February 14 and conclude on Saturday, February 15. The Tiger Paw Invitational will be the largest home meet of the year as Clemson will welcome over 25 institutions to the Clemson Indoor Track and Field Complex.
