CLEMSON, S.C. –The Clemson Track and Field program will have 11 entries in the NCAA Championship Meet in Eugene, Ore. from June 8-11. The first two days of competition will be broadcasted on ESPNU, with Saturday’s events on ESPN2 and Sunday’s on ESPN. 

The Tigers are the only team to send three athletes to compete in the 110 meter hurdles, and have done so for the second straight season. Devon Brooks, Lafranz Campbell and Giano Roberts will all compete for the national title in the event.

Trishauna Hemmings returns to nationals for the second time in as many years. She will contest the 100 meter hurdles as well as the 4×100 meter relay.

All four of Clemson’s relay teams will compete this week in Eugene. Serena Clark, Ockera Myrie, Kiara Grant, Hemmings, Kenya Thompson, KK Gadson and Courtney Williams are all on women’s relay teams, while Roberts, Cameron Rose, Guinove Joanus, Fabian Hewitt, Tarees Rhoden, Wanya McCoy and Aman Thornton make up the men’s relay teams.

Thornton will contest the 800 meter race while McCoy will look to take home hardware in the 200 meter dash.

Rojé Stona is the lone Tiger competing in a field event, as he brings the fourth-furthest discus throw this season into nationals. Stona is Clemson’s school-record holder in the event.
