Tommy Tsimbinos was promoted to Clemson Gymnastics Chief of Staff in the fall of 2026 after two seasons serving as the program's Director of Operations.
During his time serving as the team’s Director of Gymnastics Operations, he oversaw daily team operations, travel, the team budget and more. As Chief of Staff, he will continue these responsibilities as well as having increased responsibilities in assisting the coaching staff with external relations and donor engagement as well as will work with Clemson Athletics Administration on select department wide initiatives.
Tsimbinos is an accomplished graduate student experienced in baseball operations, with a strong background in both academic and athletic leadership. After completing his undergraduate studies here at Clemson, he chose to pursue his Master’s in athletic leadership which he graduated with in 2026. He also has a Master's of Business Administration from Winthrop University.
Prior to his time with Clemson Gymnastics, he had extensive leadership and operations experience in baseball. Tsimbinos served as both an equipment and operations manager for Clemson Baseball from 2019 to 2024. Tsimbinos worked directly with the Chief of Staff to manage the logistics of daily administrative duties, plan team travels, manage team budgets, and perform other duties assisted by the coaching staff.
Tommy continued his love for baseball and operations in the summer of 2024, where he organized daily logistics of the USA tour, assisted the multi-thousand-dollar NIL opportunity for collegiate players, and was responsible for managing compliance work for coaches and supporting staff.
