Rowers and Coxswains with one year or more of Varsity-level experience

Date: Sunday, July 27 – Friday, August 1

This camp is designed for high-school aged female athletes with at least one year of rowing experience at the varsity level on their team and who are 15 years or older.  Instruction will be primarily in small boats (pairs), so registration is limited to 20 rowers and 3 coxswains. This is an overnight camp and there are no day-only options.

The purpose of this camp is to really hone in on the ability to row small boats efficiently and translate that skill into larger boats. While most of the work will be on the water, there will also be instruction on the erg, in the weight room, and via video review.

Camp includes:

  • Specific instruction in small boats (mostly in pairs)
  • Some instruction on the erg
  • Instruction in strength, flexibility, mobility, and nutrition
  • All meals and snacks
  • Camp t-shirt
  • Individual video review (recording review for coxswains), notes for strengths and areas for improvement
  • Activities on and around Clemson campus

Cost: $1200

*All Camps are open to any and all entrants and is limited only by age, grade level, or gender.*
