Clemson’s on-campus facility is one of the most impressive in the nation. The facility sits on campus, just a few moments from the heart of campus. Clemson has hosted 19 ACC Championship events on the shores of Lake Hartwell since adding the sport in 1998.
The 11,500-square-foot facility houses an expanded locker room, additional workout space, a team meeting room, an athlete lounge, a kitchen, and coaches’ offices.
Lake Hartwell facilitates an ideal venue for the Tigers’ fully bouyed, six-lane 2000m race course. The entire course is visible from the boathouse.
New Facilities
Elite Athlete Recovery Center
Introducing Clemson Athletic’s new Athlete Recovery Center with designated areas for sports science, sports medicine, and nutrition. The ARC is a 10,000 square foot cutting-edge facility equipped with the latest technology and staffed by expert professionals dedicated to helping you optimize your recovery and achieve your athletic and team goals. This facility is located adjacent to the Rowing Facility.
WATT FAMILY PERFORMANCE AND WELLNESS CENTER
Construction is underway on a $50 million, 50,000 square-foot state-of-the-art performance and wellness center for Clemson’s student-athletes, as well as upgrades to the existing volleyball facilities and renovation to the Jervey Athletic Center. The Watt Family Performance and Wellness Center will house Sports Performance, Nutrition, and Sports Medicine’s central facility (the Rowing center also has a training room area which was expanded and renovated in 2024.
