Tonight was the first start of the year for Clemson forward SamPerry. He scored five points and had two rebounds to go with twosteals in 16 minutes. He scored Clemson’s first field goal of thegame. Trevor Booker made the start tonight after missing the last34 minutes of the Miami (FL) game last Sunday with an ankle injury.He made his first four shots from the field tonight and finishedwith 10 points and seven rebounds, including six offensiverebounds. He has now started 57 consecutive games. David Potterscored 11 points, including nine in the second half when he made3-3 on three-point shots. It was his high scoring game since hescored 11 against East Carolina on December 5. It was his fourthdouble figure scoring game of the year, the third time he hasscored exactly 11. Cliff Hammonds hadfive steals in this game to go over the 200 mark for his career. Henow has 204 and is just the sixth player in ACC history with atleast 1200 points, four rebounds, 400 assists and 200 steals.Clemson has now committed just nine turnovers in consecutive games,tying for its season low in that category. Clemson is now 5-3against Boston College lifetime, including 3-0 at LittlejohnColiseum. The home team has won six straight in the series. All ofClemson’s five wins over Boston College have been by at leastdouble digits and four of the five have been by at least 20 points.
