On Game “I thought we did a nice job tonight, we came ready to play. We did a great job on defense putting pressure on them and setting the tone of the game early. I thought that we were able to grab the game by the throat. We also made some big shots to get a working margin, but the story would definitely be our defense and attacking the glass.”

On Boston College “They had some good looks and showed toughness, but we were able to stick to our plan and wear them down. Cliff Hammonds did a great job on keeping Rice out of the game.”

On Road Games “We have talked about the importance of winning this game before we went on the road and I think they listened. I want to see the same things, because these games are critically important and it is a chance for us to get some more wins.”

On Injuries “They have handled it well, I think it is due mostly to earlier this season when we lost Mays and Perry. They were able to step up because they have been there.”

On Bench “They played great and Potter and Sykes coming off the bench made it so we could go nine men deep.”

On Cliff Hammonds “There is a comfort level with him at point. I think he is one of the most underrated players in the league and the country, he will do anything he is asked and do it well.”

On Trevor Booker “He looked good health-wise, and didn’t show any effects after the game. We are happy he is back.”
