CLEMSON, S.C. – The No. 20 Clemson Tigers will travel down the road to Spartanburg, S.C. to play the Wofford Terriers at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, March 11. The game will be streamed live on ACCNX and live stats will be available here.

Clemson made history the last time these two teams met as it was the first game that Clemson Lacrosse had ever played in program history. In its inaugural game, the Tigers breezed past the Terriers 23-1. A total of 11 different players scored for Clemson, but Hanna Hilcoff and Gianna New led the charge as each scored five. The Tigers dominated on the draw and caused 13 turnovers in the game, only giving up one goal.

Clemson is coming off their first ACC loss at home this season, as they fell 18-9 to No. 8 North Carolina on Saturday, March 9. Although Clemson went into Saturday’s game leading the ACC in draw controls per game, the Tigers lost the draw control battle for the first time in the season. This led to North Carolina getting more opportunities on offense which they took advantage of. After missing the two previous games, Regan Byrne made her presence felt on offense with two goals. Additionally, Kayla Macleod is coming off her best game yet as she led Clemson in goals and set herself a career record of four goals. These freshmen will look to continue to make an impact against Wofford and for the rest of the season.

The Tigers beat the Terriers in almost every statistical measure, including goals per game, ground balls per game, draw control percentage, shot percentage, save percentage and clear percentage. As opposed to Clemson’s seven games, Wofford has only played four games so far in 2024. Clemson has outscored their opponents 110-77, meanwhile Wofford has been outscored by its opponents 70-50. Junior Bria Foley leads Wofford on offense with nine goals and 14 assists on the season. Wofford is coming off of a narrow 16-15 victory over Campbell.
