Clemson, S.C. – The Clemson women’s basketball quartet of senior guard Mia Moore, senior guard Rachael Rose, senior forward Raven Thompson, and senior guard/forward Hadley Periman earned College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District honors, announced by the organization on Tuesday afternoon.
Moore was also selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalist and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second-, and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced April 15, 2026.
SENIOR GUARD MIA MOORE SEASON HIGHLIGHTS
- Regional finalist for the WBCA Coaches’ All-America Team; All-ACC second team; finalist for the 2026 Lilly Women’s College All-Star Game; Baha Mar All-Tournament Team honoree.
- Averaged 13.3 points per game, 5.4 rebounds per contest, 4.7 assists per game, and 1.3 steals per contest.
- Moore’s back-to-back 30-point performances (30 vs. Boston College, Feb. 8, and 31 vs. Georgia Tech, Feb. 12) marked the first time a Clemson player recorded 30-plus points in consecutive wins since Barbara Kennedy Dixon during the 1981-82 season.
- In an overtime win against Wake Forest (Jan. 18), Moore scored 16 points, including 10 in overtime, setting a program record for points by an individual in an overtime period.
- Mia Moore became the 32nd player in program history to score her 1,000th career point at Clemson, reaching the milestone at Georgia Tech (Jan. 11).
- Moore was nominated by the ACC to attend the NCAA Above the Rim Summit, which will be held April 2-5 in Phoenix, Arizona.
SENIOR GUARD RACHAEL ROSE SEASON HIGHLIGHTS
- Named to the Naismith Hall of Fame/WBCA Nancy Lieberman Point Guard of the Year Preseason Top 20 watch list.
- Finalist for the 2026 Lilly Women’s College All-Star Game.
- Scored eight points, with three rebounds, two assists and two steals, in a loss to No. 9 seed USC in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
- Finished with eight points, four rebounds, five assists and three steals in a win against No. 8 seed Virginia (March 5) in the ACC Tournament.
- Added 11 points in a road victory at RV/RV Notre Dame (Jan. 25).
- Scored a season-high 20 points and made a season-best four 3-pointers in an overtime win against Wake Forest (Jan. 18).
- Led the team with 19 points and eight rebounds in a win against NC State (Jan. 8).
SENIOR FORWARD RAVEN THOMPSON SEASON HIGHLIGHTS
- Recorded her second double-double of the season (11 points, 12 rebounds) in a loss to No. 9 seed USC in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
- Grabbed 11 rebounds and added four assists in a win against No. 8 seed Virginia (March 5) in the ACC Tournament.
- Recorded her first double-double of the season (14 points, 11 rebounds) — the 11th of her career — in a win at California (Feb. 26).
- Matched a career high with 15 rebounds in a double-overtime win against Georgia Tech (Feb. 12).
- Finished with 18 points and seven rebounds in a win against Florida State (Feb. 1).
- Added 10 points in an overtime win against Wake Forest (Jan. 18).
- Added 14 points in a win against NC State (Jan. 8).
- Led all scorers with a season-high 24 points and matched a season high with four 3-pointers in a road win at Miami (Jan. 4).
SENIOR GUARD/FORWARD HADLEY PERIMAN SEASON HIGHLIGHTS
- Recorded three blocks in a double-overtime win against Georgia Tech (Feb. 12).
- Grabbed a season-high 15 rebounds, with seven points, a season-best five assists and three blocks, in a win against Florida State (Feb. 1).
- Matched a season high with eight points and two 3-pointers in a win against Appalachian State (Dec. 7).
- Has recorded eight or more rebounds in four games this season.
- Matched a season high with 10 rebounds and added eight points in a win against American (Nov. 13).
- Recorded a season-high four steals at No. 2/2 South Carolina (Nov. 11).
- Grabbed a season-high 10 rebounds in a road win at Mercer (Nov. 6).

CLEMSON WOMEN’S BASKETBALL HEAD COACH SHAWN POPPIE SIGNS CONTRACT EXTENSION
Clemson women’s basketball Head Coach Shawn Poppie has signed a contract extension through the 2030-31 season, announced by Athletic Director Graham Neff. The Board of Trustees compensation committee approved the action on Friday morning (Feb. 6).
“I’m incredibly grateful to Clemson University and Graham Neff for their Commitment to me, my staff and our entire Clemson women’s basketball program,” said coach Poppie. “We’re proud to represent the Paw and to make Clemson University proud in everything we do, both on the court and in the community. We’re thrilled to continue building something special here at Clemson!”
CLEMSON’S BARBARA KENNEDY-DIXON NAMED TO 2026 WOMEN’S BASKETBALL HALL OF FAME CLASS
Barbara Kennedy-Dixon has been named to The Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame (WBHOF) Class of 2026 as a posthumous veteran honoree. To this day, Kennedy-Dixon leads Clemson & The ACC in Career Points (3,113) and scoring average (24.5). She is one of just eight players with at least 3,000 points and 1,000 rebounds since the NCAA started sponsoring women’s sports in 1981-82 (Barbara’s senior year). The Tennessee Theatre will host the induction ceremony on Saturday, June 27, 2026.
TIGERS INK MONSTER SIGNING CLASS: HIGHEST EVER IN PROGRAM HISTORY!
The incoming 2026 class is the highest-ranked signing class in program history and ranks fourth nationally (per 247 Sports) and sixth nationally (per ESPN). Coach Poppie, who is in his second year at the helm, has signed six Top-100 recruits in two years. Prior to the Poppie Era at Clemson, the program has only had six Top-100 recruits in the previous 12 years.
The Class includes: Trinity Jones, Kimora Fields, Julia Scott, Meeyah Green, and Dyarri Braddick.
