CLEMSON, S.C. – Clemson gymnastics returns to Littlejohn Coliseum on Sunday, February 23, for the second of three-straight home meets, hosting No. 16 Stanford. The matchup is set to begin at 4:00 p.m. and can be seen on ACC Network.
Last weekend, Clemson earned its second-highest overall score of the season, but fell to NC State 195.95-196.05. Sierra Church earned a season-high 9.90 on beam for her second-career event win, and Brie Clark earned her fourth-straight score of 9.9 or higher on floor (9.925). Tara Walsh set a career-high on beam with a 9.875 in just her second appearance in the lineup this season.
Stanford comes into Sunday’s meet at 7-1, with its only loss being to fellow California ACC school Cal on Feb. 7. The Cardinal are No. 16 in the newest NQS rankings, coming in at No. 19 on vault, No. 17 on bars, and No. 13 on both beam and floor.
Presale tickets are sold out for Sunday’s meet, but a small number of walk-ups will be available at the Burton Gallery ticket windows on Sunday, beginning when doors open at 3:00 p.m.
