CLEMSON, S.C. – Clemson gymnastics returns to Littlejohn Coliseum on Friday, March 14, for the final home meet of the regular season, welcoming Penn State for an 8:00 p.m. meet. Following the competition, the Tigers will celebrate its eight senior gymnasts and the program’s senior graduate assistant.
Last weekend, Clemson earned its second-highest score of the season (196.475) in a tri-meet with George Washington and Penn State. The Tigers tallied their highest score of the year on both beam and floor, but ultimately fell to Penn State by just .2 points.
Penn State won the tri-meet at GWU last weekend, with a score of 196.675. The Nittany Lions are currently ranked No. 25 in NQS (30 VT; 25 UB; 25 BB; 43 FX), while the Tigers are No. 27 (26 VT; 28 UB; 36 BB; 26 FX).
Friday’s meet has been designated as an orange out, so fans are encouraged to wear orange. Fans will also have a chance for an orange pom upon entry.
Tickets are still available for Friday’s meet, and a small number of walk-ups will be available at the Burton Gallery ticket windows on Friday, beginning when doors open at 7:00 p.m.
