CLEMSON, S.C. – Clemson gymnastics returns to action on Saturday afternoon, traveling to Raleigh, N.C. for a mid-season rematch with NC State. The meet is set to being at 4:00 p.m. and will be shown on ACCNX.
Clemson defeated Pitt on Friday night, 196.375 – 195.900, giving the Tigers their second road win of the season. Redshirt senior Rebecca Wells was named ACC Specialist of the Week after a career-high-tying 9.925 on beam. Wells also set season-highs on two other events and won her fourth all-around competition of the season.
NC State earned a 196.725-194.925 win over North Carolina on Friday to move to 4-0 in conference meets. The Wolfpack handed the Tigers their only loss of the season earlier this month, prevailing 196.300 – 195.600 at Littlejohn Coliseum on February 2.
