COLUMBIA, S.C. — Guinove Joanus won both the 100 and 200 meter dash at the University of South Carolina Open Meet, placing himself in the Clemson top-10 all-time lists or each event. Multiple other Tigers picked up wins and two cracked top-10 lists of their own with an all-around tremendous performance from the program.
Clemson has two meets remaining until ACC Championships in Durham, N.C. and the team is hitting its stride. As the season marches on towards its championship phase, the top talent for the Tigers is consistently producing.
“It was another great day for both teams,” said Program Director Mark Elliott. “The men and women sprinters each had their best meet so far this season.”
The Tigers will be back in action next weekend at the Penn Relays in Philadelphia, Pa. The meet begins on Thursday, April 28 and will run through Saturday, April 30.
