ATLANTA, Ga. – The Clemson Tigers women’s basketball team (8-7, 1-2) heads to Atlanta to square off against an old ACC rival, the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets (11-4, 2-1).

The game will tip off on Thursday, January 11 at 7:00 p.m. on ACCNX. Andy Demetra and Fallon Stokes will be on the call on TV. William Qualkinbush and Sarah-Jo Lawrence can be heard locally on 105.5 The Roar or on the Clemson Tigers app.

Clemson is led by graduate student Amari Robinson who is averaging over 16 points and 6 rebounds per contest. Robinson currently ranks fifth in Clemson history for most points scored in a career with 1,617. She needs just 15 points to move up to fourth place. She also ranks fifth in program history with 843 rebounds, needing 17 to climb another rung on the Clemson rebounding ladder.

Ruby Whitehorn has been performing at an All-ACC level over her last four games. The star sophomore has averaged 16.5 points on 51% shooting from the floor, 40% from outside, 4.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 1.5 steals per game over the Tigers’ last four games.

Clemson has elite shooting all over the floor. The Tigers are the only team in the ACC and one of just 14 teams in the nation who have three players that shoot at least 42% from beyond the arc (min. 15 attempts) in Day Harris, Amari Robinson, and Nya Valentine. Clemson’s shooting has significant depth, as well. The Tigers are one of just two teams in the ACC and 16 teams in the country with five players shooting at a 35% clip (Harris, Robinson, Valentine, Mackenzie Kramer, and Madi Ott).
