Clemson Set to Host Winthrop in Season Opener

CLEMSON, S.C. – The Clemson Tigers women’s basketball team is set to open its season by hosting the Winthrop Eagles in Littlejohn Coliseum. The game will tip off at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 6 and can be seen on ACCNX.

The Tigers won 19 games last season and advanced to the third round of the WNIT. Clemson return all-conference forward Amari Robinson and 2023 ACC All-Freshman selection Ruby Whitehorn and added loads of experience and talent from the transfer portal.

CU is led by Amanda Butler who is in her sixth season at the helm of the Tiger program. She currently has 299 career coaching wins.

Clemson owns a 14-1 record against Winthrop.

Tickets are free for Clemson students and youth who are in sixth grade or under.
