Clemson Player of the Game Sophomore guard Will Solomon poured in 26 points and dished out a career high nine assists, the most by a Clemson player this year…Solomon played the entire 40 minutes for Larry Shyatt’s club…he has scored in double figures every game this season (28 games) and he is attempting to become the first Tiger since Butch Zatezalo (1969-70) to score in double figures in every game in one season…the game marked the 11th time Solomon has scored 25 or more points in a game this season.

Ray Henderson Scores Career High Off The Bench Freshman post player Ray Henderson came off the bench on Wednesday night to net a career high 10 points…Henderson was 4-for-5 from the field and had a team-high seven rebounds in only 19 minutes of action.

Pregame Festivities Clemson’s lone senior player Andrius Jurkunas played his last home game in a Clemson uniform on Wednesday night…Jurkunas was recognized before the game and presented with a framed picture of his uniform…senior manager Spencer Bernstein was also recognized during the pregame festivities.

Key Stat of the Game Duke was able to convert 75.8% (25-33) of its free throws on Wednesday, while Clemson only made 47.4% (9-19).

Edward Scott Has Efficient Shooting Night For The Tigers Freshman guard Edward Scott finished the Duke game with 11 points…Scott was 4-of-5 from the field and 3-of-3 on 3s.

Battier Scored 26 For Duke Junior Shane Battier connected on seven of his 10 three point attempts on the way to 26 points on Wednesday night…at the half Battier had scored 20 of Duke’s 45 points…Battier played all 40 minutes and had two assists, four blocks, one steal and no turnovers.
