LOUISVILLE, Ky. – One year removed from a second place finish, Track and Field Director Head Coach Mark Elliott led the Clemson Women’s Track & Field to win their first ACC Championship in ten years with a score of 89. Freshman Aniyah Kitt was crowned the ACC Indoor Women’s Track Most Valuable Player.
The first place finish for the women mark their first ACC Title since 2014-2015. Clemson medaled in 11 events, and three Tigers won gold. This marks the third year in a row where multiple Tigers have taken home gold.
On the men’s side, Clemson finished seventh overall with a total of 41 points.
Kitt led the way, winning gold in the 200 meter and placing second in the 60 meters to score 18 total points for the Tigers. Two Tigers repeated as individual ACC Champions as Oneka Wilson earned her third straight ACC title in the women’s 60 meter hurdles and Shantae Foreman won her second straight gold in the women’s triple jump. Wilson made conference history as she became the first athlete to three-peat in the women’s 60 meter hurdles.
Judy Kosgei set a new school record in women’s mile as she ran 4:26.32 to win the silver medal in the event. Kosgei also was named Second Team All-ACC for her performance in the 800 meters.

Up next, the Tigers will prepare for NCAA Indoor Nationals as they will find out who has qualified and punched their ticket to the national stage.
