CLEMSON, S.C. – The Clemson Tigers completed the first day of the Tiger Paw Invitational as they welcomed 30 institutions to the Clemson Indoor Track in one of the biggest meets of the weekend.
“It was another good day for both team’s, Oneka Wilson is now top in the ACC in hurdles and top-10 in the NCAA so that’s big,” Track and Field Director Mark Elliot said. ” We also had lots of people record big personal bests so it was just a all around good day”
With one of the most impressive performances on the day, Wilson completed the 60 meter hurdles with a time of 8.03 which marked a new personal best and placed her No. 3 on the all-time list. Heading into the weekend, that time would have placed Wilson sixth in the nation in that event.
