Clemson, S.C. — Clemson has announced that junior Yizhou Liu has undergone season ending surgery.
“I am sad to announce that Yizhou Liu will be out for the rest of the season due to an injury,” commented Men’s Tennis Head Coach Robbie Weiss. “Yizhou has been a leader and inspiration to our team through his incredible work ethic and passion and will be greatly missed. I am thankful that Yizhou is on the road to recovery and will be at full strength next season.”

Additionally, the junior participated in 17 overall singles and 19 overall doubles matches throughout the fall and spring seasons. Prior to his surgery, Liu was on a six-match winning streak which began on Nov. 8, 2019.
