The Clemson Tigers (10-3, 1-2 ACC) are set to host multiple competitions this weekend at the Duckworth Family Tennis Facility. On Friday, the Tigers will face No. 5 UNC (11-3, 2-0 ACC) at 5 p.m. Admission is free to all. The Tigers will also host No. 10 Duke (8-2, 2-0 ACC) on Sunday, Mar. 9 at 11 a.m. and North Carolina A&T (4-0) at 3:30 p.m.
On Friday, the promotion is Band and Spirit appreciations, with pizza given to all band and spirit members who attend. Sunday will be our Swing into Spring match, where everyone in attendance will receive free donuts and coffee.
This is the Tigers’ best start since the 2023 season, where Clemson started 11-1 and marks the third time the program has hit 10 wins through the first 12 matches since 2010.
This marks the 66th time in program history that the Tigers will face off against the North Carolina Tar Heels. The Tigers lead the series with the Tar Heels, 38-27, and their last meeting occurred in 2024 where UNC outlasted Clemson 4-0. Against the Blue Devils the Tigers are 21-28 with Duke leading. The Blue Devils last faced Clemson in 2024, defeating the Tigers 4-0. Against North Carolina A&T, this will be the third time the two programs face off with the Tigers leading 2-0. The Tigers trounced the Aggies 7-0 in 2021.
