CLEMSON, S.C. – The No. 16 Clemson Tigers (10-2, 1-1 ACC) play host to No. 27 Georgia Tech (6-5, 1-1 ACC) on Saturday, Mar. 1, at the Duckworth Family Tennis Facility at noon to kick off Tennis Fest.

Tennis Fest is a promotion by Clemson Women’s and Men’s tennis. On Saturday, there will be food trucks, and the first 50 people will receive free food. There will also be a bounce house and t-shirts for all in attendance.

On Sunday at the Men’s Tennis doubleheader, there will be free coffee, shaved ice, t-shirts, and open pickleball play for all in-between matches.

The Tigers are coming off a 4-0 road win over No. 27 Virginia Tech, their first ACC win, last Sunday. This is the Tigers’ best start since the 2023 season, when Clemson started 11-1. It marks the third time the program has hit 10 wins through the first 12 matches since 2010. This is also the Tigers’ highest ITA ranking since March 17, 2015, when they were ranked No. 15.

“We look forward to hosting No. 27 Georgia Tech for our Tennis Fest on Saturday,” Head Coach Boomer Saia said. “Georgia Tech is playing better and better these last weeks, so we’ll have to do our best to win. We’re looking forward to playing back again on our home courts, and we invite everybody out for a tennis fest and all the activities that come with it.”

This will be the 49th meeting between the two programs, with Clemson leading the series 30-18. In 2024, the Tigers downed No. 22 Georgia Tech in the second round of the ACC tournament and it was the first time since 2018 that the Tigers bested a Top-22 program.
