CLEMSON, S.C. – The No. 22 Clemson Tigers (11-4, 1-3 ACC) are on the road and set to compete against Memphis Tigers (3-10, 1-0 AAC) at the Leftwich Tennis Facility on Saturday, Mar. 15 at 2:00 pm ET.
The Tigers are coming off a split weekend where they lost to both No. 5 UNC and No. 10 Duke, but downed North Carolina A&T in a 6-1 win. Freshman Artemis Aslanisvili is now 8-2 in singles play, and leads the Tigers in singles wins.
Freshman duo Romana Cisovska and Candela Yecora are 10-5 in doubles duels and are coming off a stunning weekend win over UNC’s No. 4 ranked duo of Carson Tanguilig and Susanna Maltby where they won, 6-4.
This marks only the second time in program history that Clemson and Memphis have been matched against each other. Clemson leads the series 1-0 and claimed the sole victory in 2011 where they won 4-0.
