WTEN: No. 30 Clemson Falls 4-1 to No. 37 Wake Forest

WINSTON SALEM, N.C. – No. 30 Clemson (13-8, 3-6 ACC) fell to No. 37 Wake Forest (13-8, 3-5 ACC) on Sunday, Mar. 30 at the Wake Forest Tennis Complex.

Wake Forest took an early lead in doubles, claiming wins on courts three and one.

Freshman Candela Yecora secured the only point for the Tigers in Singles play, defeating Makayla Mills, 6-2, 6-0. 

Following the win on court six, the Tigers fell on courts one, four, and five, giving the Demon Deacons the 4-1 win.

Next, the Tigers are on the road again against No. 33 Notre Dame for a Friday night match on April 4, at 4:00 p.m., at the Eck Tennis Pavilion in South Bend, Indiana.
