CLEMSON, S.C. – The No. 39 Clemson Tigers have been seeded at No. 9 ahead of the ACC Championship tournament, as announced by the conference on Sunday. The tournament will take place in Cary, N.C., and will begin on Tuesday, April 15. The championship will take place on Sunday, April 20.
The Tigers are set to compete against the winner of Tuesday’s match between No. 16-seed Syracuse and No.17-seed Boston College on Wednesday, April 16, at 10:00 a.m. on Bank One.
The Tigers concluded their regular season with a win over Southern Methodist, 4-2, where Freshman Candela Yecora (9-2) secured the win for the Tigers with a second-set tiebreak win, 6-4, 7-6 (5). Graduate duo Annabelle Davis and Sophia Hatton concluded their final match for the Tigers with a 7-5 win.
