South Alabama then went back ahead, 3-2, as Salge fell to Zivcicova in the flight three match-up by a score of 6-1, 6-4. Kathi Gerber then posted a three-set victory (6-2, 1-6, 6-3) at flight six to even the score at 3-3 and force the final match of the day to be the decider.

Clemson’s van Adrichem came from behind in her flight two match to clinch the victory for the Tigers. Krivacevic claimed the first set, 3-6, but van Adrichem won the second and third sets, each by a 6-4 margin, for her 16th win overall.
