Women’s Tennis to Conclude Fall Season in Tallahassee

Clemson, S.C. – The Clemson women’s tennis squad gets set to compete in its third consecutive and final fall competition of the season as it heads to Tallahassee for the Seminole Showdown. Six Tigers will compete over weekend as the program looks to build on their momentum from a week ago, when they went 11-4 in singles and 6-3 in doubles at Roberta Alison.

The tournament the field will consist of a total of 13 teams and Clemson has already competed against athletes from two of the attending teams this season. As a team, the Tigers are 145-53 all-time against opponents attending the tournament and hold perfect record over Arkansas, East Tennessee State, North Florida, Tulane, Troy and Wisconsin. Additionally, Clemson has never competed in a dual match against Iowa State, McNeese State and Southern Mississippi.

Competition from Tallahassee begins Friday morning at 9 a.m. and will conclude on Sunday afternoon.
