Women’s Soccer Releases 2021 Schedule

CLEMSON, S.C. – Head Coach Eddie Radwanski and the Clemson Women’s soccer team unveiled the 2021 season schedule. The schedule features 12 ACC matchups and seven non-conference matches, including three SEC opponents in Georgia, Texas A&M and in-state rival, South Carolina.

Dates and opponents subject to change.

“We are excited to get back to a normal schedule. Coming off of a very successful year, we are grateful for games and the opportunity to play,” said Radwanski. “We have some great preseason games with Wake Forest and Duke in which we are going to learn a lot about ourselves. We are also looking forward to the opportunity to play at Texas A&M. They are a very good team and have one of the best atmospheres in women’s college soccer.”

The Tigers will open up the 2021 season with two exhibition matches as Clemson will travel to Winston-Salem to take on Wake Forest and will welcome NCAA Quarterfinalist Duke to Historic Riggs Field.

Clemson will then take on seven non-conference foes, welcoming St. Francis, Loyola, College of Charleston and NCAA Tournament contestant South Carolina to Historic Riggs Field. The Tigers will contest Loyola for only the second time in school history and the first since 1995.

The Tigers will travel to NCAA Quarterfinalist Texas A&M, Georgia and Gardner-Webb to round out non-conference play. The match against Gardner-Webb will mark only the second time the Tigers and Runnin’ Bulldogs have gone head-to-head as Clemson took the 4-0 victory back in 2001.

Clemson opens up ACC play on Sept. 16 against Pittsburgh at Historic Riggs Field and will also welcome Florida State, Virginia Tech, Syracuse and Louisville. The Tigers will travel to N.C. State, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Miami and Boston College.
