Women’s Soccer Posts Program Record 15 All-ACC Academic Selections

CLEMSON, S.C. –  A program-record 15 Tigers were named to the All-ACC Academic team, the conference announced Wednesday, surpassing last year’s previous record of six.

Minimum academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team are a 3.0-grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one’s academic career. The athletic requirement for student-athletes is to have played in at least 50 percent of competition.

All-ACC performers Megan Bornkamp, Hal Hershfelt and Caroline Conti earned the award for the third time in their career, while ACC Third Team performer Maliah Morris registered her second career All-ACC academic honor. Renee Lyles, a 2021 All-ACC Freshman Team honoree, also earned her second career academic honor alongside Sami Meredith.

Emily Brough, Layne St. George, Caitlin Smith, Sydney Minarik, Makenna Morris, Mackenzie Duff, Devi Dudley, Halle Mackiewicz and Harper White were named to the list for the first time.
