Women’s Soccer Downs Richmond, 4-0

CLEMSON, S.C. – Sara Burkett scored two goals, while Jennifer Crawford had three assists in leading Clemson to a 4-0 win over Richmond in a women’s intercollegiate soccer match at Clemson, SC Saturday night.

With the win, Clemson improves its record to 13-5 overall, while Richmond falls to 11-6-1 this season. Clemson is ranked 18th in the Soccer America poll, and 14th in the NSCAA poll.

Burkett is Clemson’s leading scorer and now has 15 goals this season. Crawford tied a school record tonight for the second most assists in a single game with three.

Clemson will play in the ACC Tournament on November 5-8 at the Walt Disney World Sports Complex in Orlando, FL in the Lady Tigers’ next action.
