Melbourne, Fla. – After forecasted rain altered the start of the 2024 Moon Golf Invitational, Clemson women’s golf sits in a tie for 11th place following the first round. The 7th-annual tournament is being held at the 6,503-yard, par-72 Suntree Country Club in Melbourne, Fla.

The teams managed to get 18 holes in on Saturday following the 1:15 pm shotgun start. Chloe Holder is tied for 22nd and leads the Tigers after shooting even par (72), while Isabella Rawl and Sydney Roberts are tied for 32nd after shooting +1 (73). Katherine Schuster, participating in her first tournament of the spring, is tied for 48th (+2, 74). Annabelle Pancake rounds out the Tigers’ lineup with a +5 (77).

Auburn sits alone atop the leaderboard at -6 (282), while LSU is close behind at -5 (283). Clemson is 10 shots out of first place at 292 (+4). 

The teams are off on Sunday as they wait out the weather and plan to return to the course on Monday for round 2 and Tuesday for round 3.
