Clemson, S.C. – Clemson women’s golf is set to open the 2024 NCAA Championships on Friday, fresh off a second-place finish at the Bryan (Texas) Regional. This year’s championship will be played at the Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, Calif, on the 6,330-yard, par-72 North Course.
Championship play consists of three days of stroke play (Friday-Sunday, 54 holes), after which the top 15 teams and nine individuals not on an advancing team will be determined. That is followed by a final day of 18 holes of stroke play on Monday to determine the top-eight teams that will advance to match play, as well as the 72-hole individual champion. The team national champion will be determined by a match-play format that will consist of quarterfinals and semifinals conducted on Tuesday, followed by the finals on Wednesday, May 22.
Clemson will use the same players as NCAA Regionals, but in a different order, following Annabelle Pancake’s second-place individual finish in Bryan, Texas. Pancake will play in the No. 1 spot, followed by fellow All-ACC selection Chloe Holder in the No. 2. ACC Championship runner-up Isabella Rawl will play at No. 3, followed by Sydney Roberts at No. 4 and Melena Barrientos at No. 5.
The Tigers will be in the first group to tee off on Friday, starting at 6:40 am local time (9:40 am eastern) off of hole #10. On Saturday, the Tigers will play in the afternoon wave, teeing off of hole #1 at 12:00 pm local time (3:00 pm eastern). Clemson will be paired with Florida State and Vanderbilt for the first two rounds.
Live scoring will be available on ClemsonTigers.com and the GOLF Channel will cover Monday- Wednesday live on air.
